Hello & Welcome!

I’m glad you’ve found your way here!

Pregnancy is full of unknowns, whether it is your first or eighth time around. You may be bombarded with words you don't know and feelings you have never felt.

When it comes to one of the most important times in your life, you deserve to be as informed as possible. So, have you considered hiring a doula?

Whether you're having your baby in a hospital or at home, a doula will provide the information you need to make the best decisions about your pregnancy and birth and will support you and your decisions without judgment.

Every pregnant woman deserves a doula!

About Me

Who am I?

My name is Ashley Motzenbecker and I have been a Certified Doula since 2007.

I am married, and I have two beautiful children, Sophia & Cole.  My daughter was born in February of 2006.  I had a wonderful birth experience, with the help of my midwife, doula and of course, husband, in my own home.  My son was born in February of 2008, and his birth was a wonderful experience in the hospital.

I enjoy everything about pregnancy, labor, birth and parenting and I make it a point to read and learn as much as I can on the subject.  I am a regional director with the Alabama Birth Coalition and the co-leader of the Wiregrass BirthNetwork.  I am also active in the community and I try to take part in anything related to pregnancy or birth.
